Deaconess Valerie Webdell serves as Co-Director of Education and Formation for the Lutheran Diaconal Association (LDA), where she supports the formation and ongoing development of deacons and deaconesses for service in congregations, institutions, and community ministries. In this role she brings theological depth, practical formation experience, and a commitment to equipping leaders for faithful, relational service across varied ministry contexts. Her work in diaconal education reflects a long-standing Lutheran tradition of preparing servant leaders who embody compassion, clarity, and grounded presence in the life of the church.
