Meet your speaker:

Pastor Julia Seymour

Serving at Big Timber Lutheran Church Montana, ELCA

Pastor Seymour grew up in North Carolina and attended Yale Divinity School (MDiv). She currently serves Big Timber Lutheran Church in Montana. She regularly contributes to the Gather magazine and has contributed volumes in the Abingdon Preaching Annual and to "There's a Woman in the Pulpit: Christian Clergy share their Hard Days, Holy Moments and the Healing Power of Humor."

Optional: "The Four Pages of a Sermon"

If you wish, purchase a copy of Paul Scott Wilson's "The Four Pages of the Sermon, Revised and Updated: A Guide to Biblical Preaching."  You will find this to be a helpful "go-to" manual for sermon preparation, helping you move from the scripture to the sermon in several clear steps.

When you register, you will receive an email with the zoom link for two sessions:  September 23 and October 7.

Your registration fee will be sent to the Montana Synod on your behalf, to cover the costs of this presentation. We are grateful to partner with Montana!
